18 years of the quiet revolution

I’ve just loved being back on air with the Quiet Revolution on Tuesday nights since January. The next show is just around the corner. Lots of fine music to introduce you to, including some more tracks from my favourite releases of last year. Some newer records from 2025 too. Alongside that some older tracks will be in the mix.

I really hope you’ve been enjoying the shows as much as I enjoy putting them together and bringing them to the airwaves. It really has been a labour of love and it seems incredible to think that the show has now been on air for 18 years. I wasn’t sure it would last that long but I’m very glad it has. Just goes to show that it’s possible to have a hand-curated playlist and people will listen, and the artists don’t have to be from the musical mainstream.

By the way, if you fancy getting a bit interactive, and pushing me a digital note under the virtual door then it would be great to hear about some of your favourite moments of the Quiet Revolution since 2007. What artists and bands have you discovered through the show? Has it led to you going to a gig or three? Or perhaps it’s inspired you to start putting on gigs yourself? (yes Mark, I’m thinking about you here).
