As well as my own choices of favourite albums and EP’s of the year there have, of course, been many other year-end lists.

Inevitably whatever point near the end of a year I choose to post my favourite album releases there will be records I’ve belatedly discovered or new releases that I would have liked to include in my list. Well, here they are for this year.

Live Quiet Revolution shows due to return on 21 December

I’m delighted to let you know that live shows will resume on Tuesday 21 December at 9pm.

This show will comprise of some of my favourite tracks from my albums of the year together with alternative seasonal songs.

January’s shows, which are, all going to plan, due on air on 4th and 18th, will be continue to reflect on songs from my albums of 2021

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the musicians for the wonderful music in the last 12 months and to you for listening to the show. It’s always a delight to know that there’s an understanding and appreciation of what I’m trying to do on the Quiet Revolution.

I wish everyone a peaceful and happy festive season and if you find this a difficult time of the year, I hope it is easier than you may be anticipating.
